A mechanical engineer, originally from Brattleboro, Vermont, I have always had an appreciation for design, creation, and beauty in nature. For me, painting is a way to put raw emotion on canvas, then manipulate it. As I add color and humor to my work, I find balance on the canvas, and mimic it in my life.

I have no formal education as an artist, but I have been painting, drawing, and doodling my entire life. I have a passion for creating. I am a maker. I love to create something from nothing, or give a new life or purpose to something. I have always loved and been inspired by abstract expressionism. For me, painting is a way to put raw emotion on canvas, then manipulate it. As I add color and humor to my work, I find balance on the canvas, and mimic it in my life.

I currently create in a spare room in my home in Media, PA that I have set up as a studio. My home is also a work of art in progress, so, like my artwork, the space around me is always changing and evolving.

I work in a variety of styles and mediums. My work is always evolving, and I am constantly working on developing different techniques and refining my favorites. I like to experiment with new styles of art, while bringing my personal style and aesthetic to everything I do.
